#FundLibraries Challenge Update!

Thank you to all of the libraries that have already participated in the #FundLibraries Challenge! We've seen some incredible creations from libraries who want everyone to know how they make a difference in their community. Who knew you could make such wonderful things out of books?
It really demonstrates the energy and passion our libraries have for the work they do for their patrons. Below, we've linked you to the social media posts from our participating libraries:
- Galesburg Public Library's Stearman biplane
- Joliet Public Library's letter "C" sculpture
- Morton Public Library's pumpkin (pictured above)
- Pekin Public Library's Fourth of July book flag
- Peoria Public Library's tractor
- Fondulac District Library's Festival of Lights wreath
- Marquette Heights Public Library's book tree
- Alpha Park Public Library's Devin the Dinosaur, The Defender of Knowledge on his Iron Throne (!)

If your library is interested in participating, there's still time! We're asking all libraries to create their sculpture by Labor Day 2021. You can post your sculpture on your social media channel of choice and make sure to use #FundLibraries to let us know the value you bring to your community!
