You know that warm, fuzzy feeling you get when you think about your favorite library? This is your chance to share it with others! The Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) wants to celebrate that passion for libraries through our Library Lovers section of the My Library Is... campaign.

Below, you'll find plenty of ways to appreciate libraries, including:

Thank you for taking the time to share your love!

Elders of the Internet

Working with Imagination, a Chicago marketing firm, RAILS produced a short video entitled Elders of the Internet. The video, starring Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation, Making It, Good Omens, etc.), addresses why libraries are more important than ever in the age of the Internet.

We need your help distributing this video! If you work at a library of any type, please share the video with colleagues and library customers, add it to your library's website and social media channels, publicize it in your newsletter and other communication tools, show it at library programs, etc. See this attached PDF for more ideas:

If you are a library customer/fan, please with friends, family, colleagues, and anyone else you think would be interested.

Tell Your Library Story

Every day libraries make a difference in the lives of their users. As part of the My Library Is... campaign, you can help libraries promote their value by adding your own library story!

about how libraries have positively impacted your life.
